Multichannel potentiostats and galvanostats with booster compatibility
Multi Autolab/M204

High-throughput potentiostat with 12 independent channels
Item number: AUTMAC204.S / AUTM204.S

The Metrohm Autolab M204 is a high-throughput multichannel potentiostat/galvanostat designed for laboratories that require scalable, parallel electrochemical testing. Housed in a single frame, the M204 can host up to 12 fully independent channels, enabling researchers to run multiple experiments simultaneously with precision and efficiency.
Each channel supports a broad range of voltage and current, from low to high, with a compliance voltage of ±20 V and a maximum current of ±400 mA—expandable up to 10 A using the Booster10A module.

The M204 follows a modular potentiostat architecture, allowing each channel to be customized with one of five optional modules, such as the FRA32M electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) module, Electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance (EQCM) module, Bipotentiostat module etc. Additonal channels and optional modules can be added at any time, even post-installation by our local, dedicated, service team providing unmatched customization, flexibility, and future-proof scalability.

  • Bipotentiostat module for RRDE measurement
  • EIS maximum frequency: up to 1 MHz
  • Compliance voltage: ± 20 V
  • Maximum applied/measured current: ± 400 mA (± 10 A with Booster)
  • Control from up to three different computers simultaneously, splitting the available channels between different users
  • Easily upgradeable with up to 12 channels or 6 channels and 6 optional modules to satisfy the challenges of a busy lab
